Deal Folk Club meets in St. Andrews Church Hall in West Street, Deal CT14 6DZ.  We meet twice a month on thursday evenings from 7pm to 10pm – singing starts at 7.15pm prompt (doors open 7pm).  All are welcome, audience and performers alike, but it helps if you come prepared to join in the choruses!

We usually have one Singers Night per month and one Guest Night where we book Festival Quality guests.  Admission on Singer’s Nights is £3 and Guest Nights are £8 or £10.  Floor Singers are welcome on all nights, and we try to fit everyone in for at least one song, though this is sometimes not possible on guest nights.  It helps if you can let us know if you are intending to come on a guest night by ringing the number below – then pay with cash on the night, exact money if possible.

Traditional and contemporary folk songs predominate – anything from a capella harmony singing and sea songs to songwriters singing their own compositions.  But all styles and instruments are welcome.
