Long-awaited return of Johnny Coppin to Deal Folk Club!  Johnny’s gorgeous and seemingly effortless vocals have graced the acoustic scene since the emergence of the band Decameron in the early 1970s. In 2026 he marks the 50^th Anniversary of his solo career with concerts throughout the UK.  He is a talented singer and songwriter, playing both piano and guitar, and has over fourteen albums to his name, including The Winding Stair, Borderland,  Edge of Day with writer Laurie Lee, and his most recent albumRiver of Dreams.  His songs are essentially English, and always melodic and evocative.  Over the years, Johnny has also played duo gigs with Mike Silver, with Phil Beer (ex Show of Hands), with Paul Burgess (Old Swan Band), and every December he tours with his ‘All on a Winter’s Night’ show.
